12 Days to Crafted: Day 2 of the Big Build!

We are primed and ready for our base coat, Mr. Demille!

We’d hoped to prime and do a base coat in one day, but, it was so darn humid today that the primer was still tacky to the touch several hours after we applied it and we opted to let it dry overnight.

We kind of just lay around and watched paint dry for part of the afternoon, before we decided it was hopeless.

I am a champion painter, but not particularly tidy about it.

Tomorrow will be a short day at the port. We’re going in early to lay down a base coat of color, then off to Home Depot for flooring (omg! I have picked out my flooring!)

My life is so exciting these days, I spend all my time researching ADA compliant floor strips, and rubber molding.

Tomorrow I’ll take you on a tour around the Crafted campus, show you some other vendor booths, and of course a shot or two of the H&O booth in progress.

Maybe we’ll talk floor strips. It’ll be exciting.

  1. You should try using mirrors to light your odd little pillar corner. Maybe a mirrored strip on the end cap. You can try and capture that beautiful natural light and angle it in the direction you need it.
