A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Oddly enough (aside from a one weekend run from Reduced Shakespeare Company) we were the only folks at Faire doing an actual stage production of Shakespeare at Faire this year. Our guild put on a pretty amazing production of Midsummer. Starring the incomparable Morgan sisters (as Puck and Hermia, respectively), and the amazing Clynell Jackson III (who used to perform with Dogs in Doublets) as Oberon, it was truly a fantastic thing to behold.

It was Midsummer in 30 minutes and what a 30 minutes it was!

I want to say that Puck and Oberon stole the show, and they kind of did

but then the rest of the cast came along and stole it back.

Poor Hermia…

We had some help from the audience with our donkey problem.

Poor Titania…

It was a fab production. The set is here.
