I spun this for a spinning challenge with the theme “Irony.” I chose it because of the grey colors and metallic sheen from the bamboo.

Which is a little bit ironic.
The plying is way inconsistent for several reasons. First, I’m not used to spinning a heavy yarn, and I was aiming for worsted/aran weight, which I did get. But the singles are underspun in places and underplied. Second reason, well, reasons would be the following.
Thanks, guys. The “helping” really “helped” me a lot. I so appreciated having to stop my wheel and losing count of my treadles every five seconds, as you gamboled across the living room and attacked my lazy kate and singles. Just sayin.
Oh, I get help like that. Love it. Please, what kind of camera do you have?
